Outsourced IT Support

Cloud and workplace IT projects

Changing email, shared files or workplace technology starts with the way your business needs to work. Use Outsourced IT Support’s contact form to discuss a migration, device rollout or cloud project, including the support requirements after the change.

Business IT support

Describe the change you’re planning

Your project might involve moving email, reorganising shared files, replacing workplace devices or preparing technology for an office move. Explain the current arrangement and the outcome you want without selecting a product solely to complete the enquiry.

State whether systems have already been chosen, whether suppliers are involved and which decisions remain open. Include the approximate number of users and locations affected, without sending detailed internal network plans.

Define the project boundaries

Separate the proposed change into what needs moving, what needs setting up and what must remain available during the work. Mention specialist applications or existing arrangements that may affect the project.

A useful initial outline includes:

  • The current and proposed systems, where known.
  • The users and working arrangements affected.
  • The business activities that depend on those systems.
  • The target date and dependencies such as other supplier work.

Explain any limits on interruption and identify decisions that still require assessment. Don’t guess storage requirements or copy confidential file inventories into the message.

Include the handover

Describe who will approve the project, support staff afterwards and manage later account or device changes. If you want ongoing support reviewed alongside the project, include that in the same enquiry.

Use the contact form to outline the workplace or cloud change, its intended outcome and preferred timing.
